in the middle of our space station, we fell into orbit under a giant black ship. when the engines shut off, millions of debris particles zipped out at us. as the ship disintegrated, we rushed in, but behind came a massive swarm of bugs. i and lei tried to escape by firing our remaining bullets, but the bugs were relentless and relentless.
when we reached the center of the asteroid field, i saw a flicker of light inside the ship. my hands pressed on the control. it clicked once more, then another, until finally, we stood at the heart of the ship.
"comrade lei," someone called out. i turned to see: "my superior is this massive space station." leaf was there, holding a hand: "this is our ship. this is where we are."
leaf walked in, looked us up and down. "oh, we're safe. we were on the other ship, just as we were. now, let's come back together." i turned to leaf.
leaf looked at me, made a face, then saw her walk away: "what happened? oh! you got lost!" she smiled. i held onto the control. leaf followed, both of us holding the control. the ship began to explode. as we descended into an open field, i grabbed a piece of debris and shot it at someone else.
i stood on the edge of the field, shooting my bow at the enemy. leaf was running after me, but she didn't let go. when I hit the ground, there was chaos above us: flying debris scattered in all directions, with some bullets going too far.
leaf turned to me and said: "don't worry, we'll come back together." i nodded, and then looked down at leaf.
in the field, a huge cloud of smoke surrounded the ship. it started moving quickly, like a crazy magician. leaf stood on a small hill outside, watching the smoke rise up into the sky.
i looked around and saw the ship moving away. with one last shot, i went back to leaf: "this is our ship. we must come back together." she nodded in agreement.
we both walked through the dark cloud of smoke, each other's backs against each other, as this massive ship moved with such speed that it looked like a living ghost.
